new-Duet
An Advancement in Portable Suction
The
S-SCORT new-Duet is a powerful,
portable AC suction unit, with battery back-up.
With airflow greater than 30 lpm at the end of a patient
tube, the new-Duet will give you the suction
you need for emergency care procedures.
Emergency
suction can be conveniently stationed on stand by, anywhere
you need. The optional retention bracket attaches the
new-Duet to a cart or wall.
The new-Duet contains a battery care system
that is designed to gently hold the battery at optimal
charge, without harmful overcharging. While plugged
into AC power, the internal battery maintenance control
system will:

bring
the battery to full charge, illuminating the green
light on the control panel. |

drop
back to "float" when the battery reaches
full charge, eliminating damage or destruction of
the battery caused by overcharging. |
The
battery care system monitors the battery during operation,
informing the operator of anticipated running time and
will disconnect a depleted battery to protect the battery
from destructive deep discharge.
The
new-Duet's automatic capacity check
will warn you when the battery begins to lose capacity.

be replaced. An

SSCOR
will replace a new-Duet battery
that does not operate to specifications within three
years of a new-Duet purchase.
The
"clamshell" design enables easy service access
to components.

C22.2 No.601.1-M90, ISO 10079-1, EN IEC 60601-1, EN IEC
60601-1-2 and IPX4 per IEC 60529.
